Apple delivers iPad Refunds in Australia


The country's customer watchdog has taken Apple to court for fake advertising since the tablet computer will not function on Australia's 4G network.
Apple's attorneys mentioned they had been willing to publish a clarification.
Nevertheless the firm doesn't take that it misled consumers.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) stated on Tuesday: "Apple's recent advertising with the new 'iPad with wi-fi + 4G' is misleading because it represents to Australian consumers the item can, with a sim card, hook up with a 4G mobile phone information network in Australia, when this is not the situation."
The watchdog then lodged a grievance at the Federal Court in Melbourne.
In a preliminary hearing, Apple attorney Paul Anastassiou mentioned Apple experienced by no means claimed the gadget would perform completely to the existing 4G community operated by Telstra.
Apple claims the brand new iPad operates on what's globally taken to become a 4G community.
The issue will go to a complete trial on two May.
