Tornado touches near San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO: - Texas -- The National Weather Service says a tornado has touched down southwest of San Antonio but is showing signs of weakening.
The next wind storm attack service says it's got received reports of a tornado near Lytle, about 25 miles southwest of downtown San Antonio. The storm has moved northeast, and meteorologists warn it could actually still cause some damage.
Another thunderstorm is approaching the city. The next thunderstorm service re-issued a tornado warning for south central Bexar County and neighboring areas. It's got since canceled its tornado warnings to the area.
A tornado watch remains under effect.


In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, thunderstorms have moved east across Fort Worth to the Dallas area. Flights happen to be delayed several hours at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport terminal.
