North Korea Hold Special PartyConference


North Korea stated Monday that a special convention of its ruling Workers' Celebration would consider spot next week, an occasion expected to solidify the authority of its new chief in advance of the controversial rocket launch.
The assembly of celebration delegates, declared by state media, also comes just in advance of a significant anniversary for your secretive, nuclear-armed state -- the 100th anniversary with the beginning of Kim Il Sung, the founder of North Korea.
At the conference on April eleven, Kim Il Sung's grandson, Kim Jong Un, is likely to be named secretary-general with the Workers' Celebration, a important publish that will underline his standing as "supreme leader" in the insular regime, mentioned Chung-In Moon, professor of political science at Yonsei College in Seoul.
